However, the corporate’s June 2022 gross sales numbers stood at 68,018 units mixed, which signifies that it recorded a degrowth in month-on-month (MoM) gross sales by 7,126 units. As of now, Suzuki’s portfolio in India consists of Access 125, Burgman Street, and Avenis scooters, and Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, V-Strom SX, V-Strom 650XT, Hayabusa and Katana bikes.
The Katana is the newest bike to be launched by the corporate in India. Suzuki is providing the bike in India with two color choices – Metallic Mystic Silver and Metallic Stellar Blue.
The Katana is supplied with a 999 cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine that belts out 152 PS of most energy, together with 106 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-velocity gearbox. The Katana will get a bi-directional quickshifter with throttle-by-wire, a slipper clutch, in addition to a 5-degree traction management system.
