Luggage problem delays start of India-West Indies second T20I | Cricket News – Times of India

BASSETERRE, SAINT KITTS: Cricket West Indies pushed again the start of the second Twenty20 worldwide with India on Monday by two hours as a result of of “significant delays in crucial team luggage” arriving from Trinidad.
“CWI regrets any inconvenience caused to our valued fans, sponsors, broadcast partners and all other stakeholders,” it mentioned Monday.
Monday’s match was initially scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. native time (8 pm IST).
India beat the West Indies by 68 runs on Friday in Tarouba, Trinidad, within the first of 5 T20s.
“Due to circumstances beyond CWI’s control, there have been significant delays in crucial team luggage arriving into St. Kitts from Trinidad,” the group mentioned.
The final two matches of the T20 collection will probably be performed at Lauderhill in Florida.
