Omega Seiki Mobility launches new EV plant in Faridabad: What to expect – Times of India

Omega Seiki Mobility in the present day introduced the opening of a new EV plant in Faridabad, Haryana. The firm has invested round USD 10 Million (Rs 75 crore) on its third EV manufacturing unit, which can have manufacturing capability of 15,000 electrical three wheelers every year, talked about in the official launch.
Furthermore, the corporate states that it’s going to ramp up the manufacturing capability to 50,000 items in the subsequent three years by investing Rs 150 crore. The firm might be manufacturing cargo electrical three-wheeler vary: Rage+, Rage+ Rapid, Rage+ Frost and Rage+ Swap and a passenger electrical three-wheeler, Stream in the Faridabad EV plant.
“With the launch of a 3rd facility in Faridabad, Haryana marks one other vital landmark for Omega Seiki Mobility dedication to rising our enterprise in India. We have an order e book of 50,000 plus cargo electrical three wheelers. We have arrange this facility to meet the rising demand of the market. This is the agency’s third manufacturing facility in Faridabad. The first facility manufactures 7,200 electrical cargo autos yearly, whereas the second facility produces 12,000 electrical two-wheelers every year.
“We have invested USD 50 million in all the three facilities in Faridabad till now and recently inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Pune for producing electric cargo and passenger vehicles. Also, we are receiving good feedback on our electric passenger vehicle, we will be soon launching another facility in Chennai which will only cater to OSM electric passenger vehicles,” added Uday Narang.
